Health and Safety
This web site contains the current health and safety codes of practice, workshop health and safety documentation, guidelines and advice covering much of the specialist work, facilities and day to day issues within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. It is essential that you read and understand the relevant codes covering the work within your specialist area and that you check them regularly for updates.
All FSE students are expected to take and pass their Schools Health and Safety Assessment. All assessments are available on this web site and you will only be allowed to carry out any practical work once you have passed the relevant assessments. All assessments should be completed as soon as possible. Any student who currently has access to the Rosalind Frankling building will have their access revoked unless they have passed their School's Health and Safety Assessment. Students should be aware that any attempt to bypass the Rosalind Franklin security system can lead to disciplinary action.
The assessments are live from the 12th September and can be accessed from the top menu or the links below and can be attempted up to 100 times*.
